That’s why we partner with Dr. Clay Van Leeuwen, a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, to bring expert care directly to our office.

Dr. Van Leeuwen travels from Fairbanks, Alaska to our practice 1–2 times a year to provide wisdom teeth extractions under oral sedation, allowing patients to undergo the procedure in a familiar, supportive environment.

Why Remove Wisdom Teeth in Cottonwood Heights UT?

Wisdom teeth often don’t have enough room to fully come in, which
can lead to:

  • Impaction (teeth stuck beneath the gums)
  • Pain or swelling
  • Infection risk
  • Shifting or crowding of your other teeth

Even if your wisdom teeth aren’t currently causing pain, they may be affecting your oral health—and removing them early can prevent future problems.

We understand that the idea of surgery can be intimidating, but we’re here to make the process as comfortable, safe, and stress-free as possible. Oral sedation is a great option that helps you relax while remaining conscious, and our team will be by your side from start to finish. We’re also focused on a fast recovery and will provide detailed aftercare instructions to support healing every step of the way.

Have questions about whether it’s time to get your wisdom teeth out? Give us a call—we’re happy to help.
